mALEFISHIENT, MARK

ive been meaning to make work-related comics forever, so enjoy some choice movie title bastardizations.

(these all actually, seriously, happened, with no humor or awareness on the part of the customer at the time as far as I could tell. so, yes, someone actually asked for a ticket to “Detergent” with a straight face.)

Remus Arthur Potter, you were named after two men who looked out for my safety and cared about my well-being out of altruism and decency rather than because I was a tool for them to use or because I was someone’s son.

IM SCREAMING WITH LAUGHTER THESE GIRLS ARE MY HEROES

SHOTS FUCKING FIRED

For anyone not familiar with how modern country sounds, these girls are calling out ACTUAL songs like making blatant references to ACTUAL lyrics from other songs on the radio.

And its fucking FLAWLESS OH MY G_D THIS IS AMAZING.

One of the reasons I stopped listening to country was, when I was a kid, the radio was full of songs by women and songs that talked about women like they were actual people.

Now so many of the songs dont give women a personality, just describe things about them like their legs, their lips, how they look in your truck. Its just SO much objectification.

My sister just showed me this and its ADSFHASDFKLLKFH she even said she heard it on the radio im so happy

"I aint your tan legged juliet" IM SCREECHING

I might be in love please send help

I admire these girls so much for standing up to what country music has become. It used to be full of women that sung about real problems for women. Martina McBride has A Broken Wing and Independence Day. Both songs about domestic violence. There was Reba and her countless songs. Jo Dee Messina with songs like Stand Beside Me about being in a relationship that is equal. Fight Like a Girl by Bombshell about how kickass women are. And one of my favorites being Dixie Chicks. They were shunned from the country music industry for speaking out against Bush and after their career fell flat they came back better than ever. Country music use to be full of empowering women. Now its reduced to men singing songs that objectify women. I’m glad to see somebody call out that shit. Well done girls.

whenever i use scissors i always have this brief thought of “ohoho man imagine if i accidentally snipped off my nipple”

It would hurt a lot but it would grow back, nipples are one of the few parts of the body that entirely regenerate
